Teen Angst? Naaah..

I am currently reading this classic memoir by Ned Vizzini. Although it is a memoir, it sounds like  your prototypical coming of age story, it still has that essence of realness. This book really explains the troubles and worries of a typical teenagers mind. So, continuing Vizzini's exemplary example of being young and wild, an original poem by yours truly:
Tick tok
Goes the clock
As time passes by
Sometimes too fast
Sometimes too slow

Worries and problems
Clutter my head
Thoughts of fright
Fill my head

I walk these hallow halls
With a blank stare on my face
Watching the lives
Of teens go to waste.
